Workshop held in Dhaka on Online Business Growth Strategies
In this age of online social media, content creators are active everywhere. In this race, a two-day workshop was held at Basila, an extended suburb under Mohammadpur police station of the capital, to teach entrepreneurs business growth strategies using their innovative ideas. Some entrepreneurs from many districts outside Dhaka including Gaibandha, Kapasia of Gazipur have also participated in this program. Due to the demand of the trainees, the organizers have got a glimpse of several workshops from next month.
About a hundred online entrepreneurs participated in the workshop held jointly by Content King and HelperBD. Content King founder Md Ikram was present as a trainer in this workshop entitled "Behind the Sales Growth".
Regarding training, he said, entrepreneurs are currently facing a challenge with sales. Due to the competition created by various new updates of Facebook and the arrival of many new entrepreneurs in the market, the marketing cost behind the sales has increased, most of the businesses are facing financial losses in a big way. A special training program has been organized to reduce cost per sale for entrepreneurs.
Faisal Ahmed, co-founder of Haramain Store, who participated in the workshop, said that the business growth guidelines he received from the workshop will be helpful in dealing with this tough business challenge. In addition, the owner of the antique shop, Sohail Ibn Abdullah, said that the competition is increasing due to the arrival of new entrepreneurs in the market. In this competitive market it is not possible to survive without acquiring business and sales skills, that's why he joined this workshop. He said, this informative session of 8 hours was so enjoyable that it never felt boring. One last thing I want to say for everyone, don't come to online business with only motivation. Don't come to this business with only sales based business target and get into business only after learning first.
Wazed Ali, the managing director of HelperBD, the organizing company, said that Facebook's ad budget is constantly increasing in every cell of the business. Without proper marketing skills, this ad spend cannot be reined in. That is why this initiative has been taken for the first time skill development for entrepreneurs.
On the last day of the workshop among the trainees, the top 3 selected through a competition are given ad account and $50 ad credit courtesy of HelperBD.
